Razer has just announced its newest collaboration, the Kraken Kitty V2 – Gengar Edition headset!
Razer has been busy in the collab business lately, between Hello Kitty, Fortnite, and even another Pokémon setup, but today they have just announced the newest Pokémon collaboration with none other than the spooky Gengar! It is hard to think of a Pokémon as spooky, but in the Pokédex, it is said that to defeat its target, it “slips into the prey’s shadow and silently waits for an opportunity.”
Gengar feels like a niche collaboration, but the company has been teasing the collaboration online with a video filled with fans begging for it. There has been no shortage of purple hearts, fire and heart-eye emojis, with the general consensus being “I neeeeeeed.” As both a Ghost and Poison-type Pokémon, Gengar will be bringing his pointy ears and spikey hair to one of the most notable headsets in their lineup, the Kraken Kitty V2.
The Razer Kraken Kitty V2 is famous for its adorable kitten ears with stream reactive lighting. They can often be seen on Twitch, TikTok or YouTube, and even I have my own pink pair. Now they are adding to their pink, white and black lineup with something a little more mysterious, Gengar’s signature purple—you can even see a small Gengar etched on the inside of the earcup.
