Red Bull Home Ground brings back the 2024 victors, the South Korean powerhouse team T1, who will return to Red Bull Home Ground 2025 to defend their title against other top invited teams this year: FNATIC, G2 Esports, Sentinels, ZETA DIVISION and three other qualifying teams which will be decided by these Red Bull Home Ground events for the first time. For Canadians looking to get into competition at Fan Expo, there will be two Bell Esports Challenge Online Qualifiers and then a top-four final on the Bell Esports Challenge stage at the Fan Expo event.

The winners will determine who advances to the next qualifying event in New York City, to then play their way into the world final. The winning team from each Bell Esports Challenge Online Qualifier will advance to compete alongside two to-be-announced VALORANT teams for the spot in New York.

There will be two Bell Esports Challenge online qualifiers, one from July 19-20 and one from July 26-27, before the in-person Canadian qualifier, which will take place in Toronto at FanExpo on the Bell Esports Challenge Stage on August 23. The two winning teams from the online qualifiers will be joined by the two currently unannounced teams to round out the tournament.

For fans interested in competing, registration is still open for both qualifying dates. All fans have to do is sign up from the official Red Bull Home Ground website here. While players from both the USA and Canada can register as teammates, the rules interestingly require teams to have at least 3/5 of their players to be native to Canada, and this requirement doesn’t include coaches. The event staff will check identification, and if teams are found to not follow this specific rule, they will be disqualified and will not be allowed to register again.

For those looking to spectate on the Red Bull Home Ground event can do so by heading to the official event Twitch channel on the qualifier dates to watch all of the action.
