Following the original Red Dead Redemption voice actor’s recent tease about a potential release, the actor behind Red Dead Redemption 2’s Arthur Morgan has now followed suit.
During a Twitch stream on Saturday, Red Dead Redemption voice actor Rob Wiethoff—who voiced John Marston in the original game—said he has “such exciting news” that he can’t share, and it’s “killing” him. On his official Twitch channel, he added, “I cannot wait for you to know what’s going on, and that’s all I can say.” Fans quickly took to internet forums to speculate about what the voice actor may have been hinting at.

What fans didn’t notice until today is that Red Dead Redemption 2 voice actor Roger Clark—who portrayed Arthur Morgan—added fuel to the fire on Sunday in response to Rob Wiethoff’s comments. Over on X (formerly Twitter), a user asked Clark if he knew about the news Wiethoff had teased, shortly after Clark posted: “I didn’t pay for the checkmark, they kindly gifted me a year’s subscription. Gonna check it out.” Clark simply replied “Yes,” along with a photo of a sly-looking dog smiling at the camera.
While fans have also speculated on Reddit about who “they” in Clark’s sentence could refer to, the full exchange can be seen below.
The voice actor for Red Dead Redemption 2’s Charles, Noshir Dalal, also chimed in, posting directly to the exchange above with a moving image of Jason Momoa cheekily spinning in a computer chair—implying he may also be in on the Red Dead Redemption tease. Over the past three days, three members of the Van der Linde gang have hinted at something Red Dead Redemption–related. And while Rockstar Games hasn’t made an official announcement yet, fans are convinced one is coming soon. Whether that announcement is Red Dead Redemption 2 coming to the Nintendo Switch 2—or something more—remains to be seen.
