Capcom is delivering everything it can for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem, including a special Amiibo and a Switch 2 Pro controller on launch.
Preorders for the latest Resident Evil Requiem are now live (on Halloween, no less), and Capcom has released a bunch of information regarding the game’s release versions and what comes with each version, including the Nintendo Switch 2. The company also revealed it will release a Resident Evil Requiem-flavoured Switch 2 Pro controller and the first-ever Resident Evil Amiibo compatible with Nintendo consoles.

The first-ever Resident Evil amiibo is on its way with the announcement of Requiem coming to Nintendo, and it will portray the Requiem protagonist, Grace Ashcroft. The amiibo is due out in summer 2026, and fan speculation has wandered around whether Leon will be playable in Requiem or not, so fans are wondering if a Leon amiibo is also under wraps. The new Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller will run users $99.99, and more information on the amiibo will be available soon. With the extra announcements today, a new Road to Requiem overview trailer has been revealed and can be seen below.
Firstly, Resident Evil Requiem preorders (and previews) are now live, and in-game bonuses for the Deluxe Edition have been confirmed. The Deluxe Edition includes five costumes (one of which is a Resident Evil Village Lady Dimitrescu costume for Grace) and two screen filters. The deluxe edition also comes with four weapon skins, two charms, a custom Raccoon City Classic sound pack, and additional in-game files that expand the lore of the universe.

The ninth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil Requiem, arrives for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on February 27, 2026.
