ASUS Republic of Gamers has revealed pricing for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, as well as pre-order dates.
Details place the ROG Xbox Ally at an estimated price of $799 CAD, while the ROG Xbox Ally X will be priced around $1,299 CAD. Not only that, potential buyers, pre-orders for both devices are now available in select markets. While Canada is one of the regions where the pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will be available, other markets will be “coming soon.”
The ROG Xbox Ally is now available for pre-orders through Amazon, the ASUS Store, Best Buy, Canada Computers, EB Games, London Drugs, Memory Express, Staples, and Walmart, and will be available later at launch at Costco, MDG, the Microsoft Store, Newegg and Visions.
The ROG Xbox Ally X, however, will be available for pre-order on the ASUS Store and Best Buy—coming to the Microsoft store at a later date. As an added incentive for Canadian buyers, the first 150 customers to pre-order the ROG Xbox Ally X on the ASUS Store will receive a complimentary ROG OMNI figurine.
The ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are still positioned to release on October 16th, 2025. As we stated in our previous coverage, the systems will be available virtually everywhere, ranging from several countries in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Availability in Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Thailand will follow after the initial release.
The ROG Xbox Ally is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 A Processor that delivers incredible energy efficiency, while the ROG Xbox Ally X boasts the new AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme Processor for next-level performance in AAA titles. Both devices offer significant gen-on-gen improvements over the previous ROG Ally, giving gamers the best handheld Windows 11 gaming experiences available.
The Xbox Team has also been working closely with ROG to make sure gamers get the most from Xbox titles—including advanced shader delivery for faster boot times, and indications for Handheld Optimization or partial compatibility on the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X.
