SEGA Delists Jet Set Radio & Crazy Taxi Among 60 Titles From Digital Storefronts

Thursday morning, SEGA announced that they will remove some of their fan-favourite titles from digital storefronts as early as December.

Along with the announcement that some Like a Dragon titles — specifically Like a Dragon: Isshin! and Like a Dragon the Man Who Erased His Name — will be removed from Xbox Game Pass earlier in the week, SEGA has taken to their FAQ to answer questions regarding future removed titles from digital storefronts.

It appears Like a Dragon was just the tip of the iceberg, as SEGA has released a list of titles that will be removed from digital storefronts, not just from Xbox Game Pass, and not allowed for new purchases. The FAQ post notes, “Select games and bundles will be delisted from virtual stores, becoming unavailable for new purchases” and continues by assuring customers their existing purchases will not be affected, “Your owned games will still be available in your library.” Fans still have time, though, as the following titles will be removed from stores in early December, and fans still have time to add to their library before the final call.

Sega Delists Jet Set Radio &Amp; Crazy Taxi Among 60 Titles From Digital Storefronts

While this timing of removal does seem random, SEGA made an announcement back at The Game Awards 2023 called “Power Surge,” and the very brief teaser revealed that five of the listed game series are currently in development with Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, and Streets of Rage leading the charge. While fans will not be able to purchase these titles after December 6, everything is still available so fans should act quickly if they want to secure their favourite SEGA games before the cut-off period.
