Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 released worldwide earlier this week on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game is a modern-day first-person tactical shooter. Built with AAA production, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is designed to be less linear than previous entries in the series. Plays control Jon North who is dropped into a hot conflict zone in the Republic of Georgia, tasked with neutralizing the Separatist Leaders destabilizing the country. The game features an open world that can be freely explored by players, accepting different activities and side missions known as “war crimes”. Players collect supplies and resources, upgrading their character as they progress through the game’s story. Reception for the game has been divided since launch with critics claiming that the gameplay is bogged down by a lack of polish.

While previous entries in the Sniper: Ghost Warrior series haven’t been critical successes, the company considers them a commercial success, collectively selling over 5.5 million copies.
