Solo Leveling concluded its original run in March 2024, and after almost a year, Season 2 -Arise from the Shadow- premieres tomorrow on Crunchyroll.
The highly anticipated return of Solo Leveling is almost here. The Korean light novel adaptation returns for its second season tomorrow. The first season followed the world’s weakest hunter, Sung Jinwoo, after he met his demise in a high-ranking dungeon. Sung Jinwoo then returned to life with a program called the System, a program only he could see, which allowed him to level up. The official trailer for Season 2, released last week, can be viewed below.
In celebration of the second season launch, Crunchyroll has also released season two promotional art posters to commemorate the launch. One of the posters in question features an image of the villain Baruka (introduced in the Solo Leveling Reawakening 2-part episodic film) so it’s safe to say his appearance will make an impact during the second season run.

Solo Leveling has become a sort of phenomenon over the past year, with many properties in the works including an announcement that the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok webtoon (featuring a time jump to the future, it is a sequel) has already landed on the Tapas server, and the spin off NETMARBLE phone game, Solo Leveling: ARISE had reportedly recorded over 12 million global pre-registrations ahead of its May 2024 release date, and they’re currently running a free giveaway that ends sign-ups today at 4:00 p.m. EST, so fans (who play ARISE) should use the X (formerly Twitter) link below to join the giveaway celebration.
Solo Leveling Season Two –Arise from the Shadow– premieres only on Crunchyroll, and will have a total of 13 episodes that release weekly. The second season starts airing at 12:30 p.m. EST.
