The annual Steam Next Fest for 2024 is now live, meaning fans can get in on all of the excitement including demos, live streams and even special events all week.
The Steam Next Fest 2024 is a week-long event that brings new titles, demos, and information regarding exciting upcoming titles. Valve has gone the extra mile this year, and released a trailer celebrating the event kick-off. The trailer can be seen just below and asks fans “Have you ever wanted to see into the future?” with this event, Valve says you can.
Interestingly enough, The Steam Next Fest 2024 arrives just after the main showcases for Summer Game Fest, which means titles like Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn just shown off at the massive Xbox Showcase already have a completely FREE demo to play on the Steam platform right now. That’s not all, other titles that haven’t been mentioned at this year’s Summer Game Fest like Metal Slug Tactics also has a new demo available for free. All of the demos available at this year’s Steam Next are upcoming titles, most of which have been revealed at SGF 2024. The most popular demos (according to Steam) are headlined by the survival horror title from Starry Studio, Once Human.
The Steam Next Fest 2024 event is also a good way for gamers to get their eyes on fresh new titles, especially Indie titles, that haven’t been discovered yet. The top of each game category on the Steam Next homepage not only delivers a wealth of options for those who ‘don’t know what to play next’ but also delivers a live stream from someone playing the game at that very moment, so you can watch gameplay without even picking up the sticks.
The Steam Next Fest 2024 runs all week until June 17, and fans can jump in on all the action by just heading to the Steam website to get started.
