SteelSeries has just launched the Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 and Apex Pro TKL White Gen 3, bringing compact power and style to its keyboard lineup.
The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 lineup launched back in September 2024, and since then, there have been no additions to the lineup—until today. SteelSeries has pulled back the curtain to reveal a mighty mini keyboard that takes up far less desk space while still including all the technological advancements introduced with the Apex Pro Gen 3 launch.
Introducing the Apex Pro Mini Gen 3—a proper mini-sized Apex Pro that delivers a hefty gaming experience without 40 percent of the keys. SteelSeries has also announced a colourway refresh with the Apex Pro TKL White Gen 3, the same device as the September launch but now in a fresh white outfit.
SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 Lineup Key Features
- The latest Hall Effect switches that allow users to adjust actuation points have been improved. The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 introduces OmniPoint 3.0 technology. This is the industry’s first Hall Effect Gen 3 sensor, and the Apex Pro Gen 3 series provides gamers a fast response speed.
- GG software lets players have effortless access to individual pro-grade profiles for the most played games, so presets are at each gamers fingertips in case they don’t want to adjust for every scenario. Notable preset inclusions are Rapid Tap, Rapid Trigger, and Protection Mode.
- OmniPoint 3.0 technology puts individual key customizable power in gamers’ hands, with 40 adjustable actuation levels on each individual key, ranging from an ultra-responsive 0.1mm to 4.0mm (similar to the Glorious GMMK 3).
- SteelSeries boasts OmniPoint 3.0 switches are “11x faster” than standard mechanical switches.
CGMagazine’s review of the SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 TKL keyboard calls it “one of the best keyboards I’ve ever typed on” thanks to the mechanical keyboard features introduced with the Apex Pro Gen 3 lineup. Additionally, SteelSeries has revealed a new white colourway for their TKL keyboard, the Apex Pro TKL White Gen 3. This model contains all the features outlined in the SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 lineup (and remains identical to the black version) but comes in a white colour to match other white peripherals in the SteelSeries catalogue.
The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Gen 3 will be available for $199.99 USD, while the Apex Pro TKL White Gen 3 will retail for $219.99 USD. Both devices can be purchased from the official SteelSeries website.
