SteelSeries, the leader in gaming and esports peripherals and KontrolFreek, the creator of Performance Gaming Gear have announced a new collection of gaming peripherals.
It’s called the Six Siege: Black Ice Collection inspired by the original Black Ice skin from the Ubisoft developed game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege. The transparent, artic colour scheme from the original skin is brought to life in the collaborative collection. The Six Siege: Black Ice Collection includes a Prime Pro Series Gaming Mouse, a QcK Heavy XXL mousepad, and two Six Siege: Black Ice hybrid, high-rise Performance Thumbsticks.
The PrimePro Series Gaming Mouse in the collection is coated with a Black Ice skin and was co-developed with the world’s leading competitive esports players. The Prime mouse has a battle-tested shape meant for sustained comfort at the highest levels of play. Its lightweight form factor can help reduce hand fatigue when lifted.
The mouse’s design can withstand the most intense wear and tear, and a new textured matte finish ensures a non-slip grip. The PrimePro gaming mouse includes a TrueMove Pro sensor to provide esports pro performance, and onboard customization makes selecting settings easy. The PrimePro Series Gaming Mouse will cost $69.99 USD.
The second item in the SteelSeries Black Ice collection is the QcK Heavy XXL Mousepad. At a price of $39.99 USD, the mousepad includes a panoramic Black Ice design, a heavy durable micro-woven cloth and an extra thick rubber base for a solid gaming platform.
It also includes an added cushion for your wrist. With a high thread count fabric, you can optimize mouse tracking accuracy on any smooth surface with both optical and laser sensors.
Finally for controller players is the KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks. The collection thumbstick comes in a set of two for $19.99 USD which adds an additional 13.25mm of height to your controller sticks. The Black Ice thumbsticks’ added height increases arc distance and precision.
That’s not all as they also reduce the amount of force required for movements, decreasing hand fatigue, and improving accuracy. The KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controllers.
