Stepping into the monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies follow Davy, a zombie living at the bottom of the monster society. Wandering the deserted mall, he discovers and falls in love with a human girl, Julia, who is frozen to death in the freezer. With his newfound love, Davy embarks on an adventure to bring her back to life so he can ask her out.

However, Davy accidentally ate a meal that granted him the power to utilize Styles from devouring his enemies’ cores, obtaining their abilities and unique appearances. Meeting Dr. Frank, the self-proclaimed Supreme Intellect of Humanity, who hopes to restore humanity, he encourages Davy to use his newfound power and dive into the monster-filled dungeons.

As Davy unleashes combos and devours his enemies’ cores through the Funky Zombie Action combat system, Stupid Never Dies includes 11 Styles for players to master, featuring:

  • Zombie Style – Davy Default Style.
  • Werewolf Style – Specialized in speed for wild rampage, with the ability to use Triangle Jump to kick off walls to reach higher places.
  • Harpy Style – A flying Style that attacks enemies from a distance with projectiles.
  • Golem Style – A tough and sturdy Style designed to coat Davy with living bedrocks to reduce damage taken, while sending the enemies flying.
  • Vampire Style – Control a swarm of Bats and drink the blood of his enemies to heal.
  • Wil-o’-the-Wisp Style – A Style to shift between the physical and astral planes.
  • Cyclops Style – Designed for delivering powerful attacks at the cost of speed being decreased, and growing stronger when taking damage.
  • Snow Fairy Style – Freeze his foes with an ice blade and steal their cold to enhance Davy’s sword attacks.
  • Merfolk Style – With the ability to control water, it allows Davy to dive into the ground like it’s water and attack the enemies with waves and a whirlpool.
  • Lich Style – Senses and instantly teleports to enemies close to death, and can summon skeletons by killing his enemies with the death scythe.
  • Demon Style – As a form of a Demon, Davy can wield a gravity-shifting whip and summon attacks with a magic sigil. Additionally, the gravity allows Davy to kick off walls for higher jumps.

Giving a glimpse into the Body Hacks, the modifications showcased in the trailer are the Massive Edge and Missile Pod, both designed for the left arm.

With the many Body Hacks and Styles at Davy’s disposal, players can unleash Davy Burst after repeated attacks and meeting certain conditions. With the special power activated, Davy paints the world with his delusion and imagination, while significantly boosting all his abilities.
