Summer Game Fest has announced it will be returning for its 6th annual showcase from June 6 – 9, 2025, featuring 40 of the gaming industry’s top publishers joining along.
As a way to start the summer break, the 6th annual Summer Game Fest will be making a return on June 6 – 9, 2025, in Los Angeles, a celebration of the future of video games with consumers, media, influencers, and thought leaders for the multi-day celebration through in-person and digital. Hosted by Geoff Keighley (The Game Awards), this year Summer Game Fest will feature a Live Kickoff show from YouTube Theatre on June 6th, an SGF: Play Days for Media and Influencers on June 7 – 9 in downtown Los Angeles to preview upcoming products and produced by iam8bit, and a new thought leader event in downtown Los Angeles to discuss the gaming industry.
As always, the Summer Game Fest will be a 2-hour showcase in-person and a live stream on June 6 from 2 – 4 PM PT (5 – 7 PM EST, 10 – Midnight GMT) from Los Angeles at the YouTube Theatre, produced by The Game Awards team. During the showcase, many consumers and gamers, whether in-person or online, will view new video game announcements, and there are always some exciting surprises. The show will be broadcast across 20 digital video platforms, notably Youtube, Twitch, TikTok, X, and Steam, alongside international partners. Summer Game Fest tickets will be available in later Spring for the attendees who wish to attend the showcase in person.

SGF: Play Days features more than 40 of the gaming industry’s top publishers who will show off plenty of games coming in 2025 and beyond.
