Friday, KD and Nintendo announced they’re joining forces to make KD Super Mario Power-Up Shapes Mac ‘n Cheese, complete with noodle shapes that resemble Mushroom Kingdom items.
KD is back at it again. After launching Super Mario Mac ‘n Cheese way back in the 1990s, they’ve come full circle with a new partnership with Nintendo to bring the Mushroom Kingdom shapes back to your bowl of macaroni and cheese. Honouring over 30 years of KD’s shapes line-up, Kraft R&D (KD’s parent company) currently holds over 30 patents in their shapes lineup for noodles, and for nearly 30 years (starting with Super Mario) the company has been bringing fun to this dinner staple.
