Chinese tech manufacturer TCL has announced its new line of mobile devices and other accessories, adopting features from their high-end HDTV displays into affordable 5G capable, curved AMOLED packages. Its TCL 10 series of smartphones are the latest to bring standard symmetrical designs across its TCL 10 Pro, TCL 10L, and TCL 10 5G models – each of which carry distinct features. The company also revealed a smart router, wireless headphones and the Kids Watch.

Through a focus to transfer the same vivid images from current monitors, users can expect TCL’s first 5G smartphone to bring sharp images and send them through fast connections. The camera is made of a 64MP lens with a 118-degree wide mode and a macro zoom up to 2cm away from objects. Its front-facing camera gives users a clear selfie with 16MPs while its images can render four pixels at a time for increased lighting under dim settings.

TLC also revealed that each phone comes with its shared first-party Smart Experiences software, connecting each phone through special UI without overwhelming users. The displays will also have adaptive tones which alter color temperatures and brightness anywhere. Its on-screen can also be customized to open any app users want with three different press types (short, multiple or long).

As part of their new Smart Connected line for home and health, TLC announced the LINKHUB 5G CPE and fits 5G services into a portable router which can be easily carried to offices. The router also retains standard 2.8Gbps speeds for fast switching through Wi-Fi 6 technology – speeds the comapany claims “can download a 1Gbps HD movie in just 3 seconds.”

The router even features a Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 processor inside and will come with mesh for compatibility with other routers for seamless extensions across the house “without dead zones.” TCI’s LINKHUB 5G CPE comes worlwide later in Q3 2020 at $499.

Two Bluetooth headphones, the SOCL500TWS and ACTV500TWS cater to casual and sport-driven wearers. The first comes with 5.8mm drivers while the latter adds beefier bass for workouts through 6mm drivers. Both are IP-graded for waterproof certification. The SOCL500TWS comes with 6.5 hours on a single charge, with almost 20 hours in its charging case. The ACTV500TWS comes with a quick charge to power the buds for 6.5 hours before gaining 26.5 hours through the portable charging case.

Finally, TCL is providing children with a new MOVETIME smartwatch option, training them to connect with others through Bluetooth calls and chat functionalities. The watch comes with security trackers and an SOS button for emergencies, patching them through to custom emergency contacts instantly.
