The Boys Is Getting A Bloody VR Game Weeks Before The Final Season

Developed alongside the series creators themselves, ARVORE and Sony Pictures Entertainment are bringing the world of The Boys to life with a brand-new, bloody VR game.

The Boys: Trigger Warning will be an immersive VR experience that is releasing only weeks before the final season airs on Amazon Prime. Previously announced back in December of 2025, we now know that the release date is set for March 26th. Fans will be able to play The Boys: Trigger Warning before the final season airs on April 8th. The season will start with a two-episode premiere, then go week by week until the finale.

In the new gameplay trailer, which shows off much of the game we did not get to see in the previous announcement. The Boys: Trigger Warning will drop you into the life of Lucas Costa, whose life goes up in flames after an encounter with the washed-up superhero family, the Armstrongs. The Boys save Lucas’s and his wife’s lives before juicing him up with compound V and setting you and Lucas on a bloody path to get his daughter back from the clutches of Vought.

The gameplay looks to be a mix of action, stealth, and story. In the trailer, we see Lucas juiceing himself up with different temp V strains, which give him and the player new superpowers to unleash on enemies. The different powers in the trailer appear to be telekinetics, arm swords, laser vision, and invisibility.

“Creating a game set in The Boys universe, our team focused on delivering an experience that felt authentic to the show while giving players a true superhero experience that wouldn’t be possible outside of VR,” said Chief Creative Officer, ARVORE, Ricardo Laganaro. “Thanks to Sony Pictures Entertainment and the show creators, we’ve created something incredibly rare to see in game adaptations for such iconic IPs. We can’t wait to see how fans interact with the story and characters we’ve added to this franchise.”

The Boys: Trigger Warning will feature returning actors from the show, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke). Each actor is set to deliver a unspiringly great performance if the show is any metric to go by.

The Boys: Trigger Warning is available for pre-order now on the Meta Quest Storefront with a limited-time promo price of $23.99 USD and $32.60 CAD. Wishlisting is also open on the PlayStation Store, with more details about a PSVR2 launch coming at a later date.
