Elder Scrolls fans have been exploring Apocrypha since Necrom launched back in June, and today Zenimax launched a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online: Endless Archive, a new update coming to Necrom.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom has introduced players to many different gameplay elements, including the well-received Arcanist class and the new plane of Oblivion, Apocrypha, to explore. Four months have passed since the latest major expansion, and today Zenimax Studios has unleashed what’s next for Tamriel, a brand new PvE activity the Endless Archive. The new trailer can be seen below.
The new content features randomized waves of enemies that players must confront. The Endless Archive content is intended for solo players or duos, and even a companion can join! So adventurers can bring the newest Argonian ally Sharp-as-Night can join adventurers into the gauntlet.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Endless Archive Key Elements Revealed

- A new PvE activity intended for solo or duo play. Players can bring along a companion if they go alone, it is dangerous after all.
- Rogue-like gameplay elements keep The Elder Scrolls Online: Endless Archive fresh each time. Randomized enemy waves greet unsuspecting adventurers after every encounter, and falling to the perils of the Endless Archive resets the run.
- After combatants complete two randomized stages, they can test their mettle against a boss to complete a cycle. Completing five cycles allows players to confront the final boss, victory means rewards and the completion of an arc.
- Ultimate replayability – After completing an arc, the difficulty increases allowing adventurers to go at it again to snag even better rewards. Randomized encounters keep each run fresh.
- Verses and Visions grant players helpful buffs while in The Elder Scrolls Online: Endless Archive, but only one can be gained at a time so players must choose wisely.
- Seven new class item sets can be found in the Endless Archive and nowhere else at launch. These items synergize to make a class much stronger, which can in turn increase survivability in the archival crucible.
