The Game Awards 2024: Start Time & Where To Watch

The Game Awards 2024 Opening Night Live arrives this week, and fans who are curious about what’s nominated and where to watch are in the right place.

The Game Awards is an annual event that highlights the accomplishments of game development throughout the year. For the 2024 instalment, Geoff Keighley returns as host for the 10th year of the current show’s running, although he served as host for the predecessor program The Spike Video Game Awards. Each year, the best developments of the year are brought to the stage in celebration of video games around the globe, and recent years have given all-important Indie Games their own category.

Where to Watch The Game Awards 2024

The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom

Like every year, The Game Awards 2024 will be fully streamed from the official Twitch Channel or the official Game Awards YouTube channel. The Game Awards 2024 takes place on Thursday, December 12, at 7:30pm ET. Although Geoff Keighley has expressed he would want the showtime to be shorter in the past—it has been a 3+ hour show for the past three consecutive years running—so fans might want to prepare if they’re in it for the long haul.
