With the exciting celebration hastily approaching, Geoff Keighley announces The Game Awards 2025 nominations, highlighting the many amazing games released this year.
Kicking off its 12th annual showcase at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles once again, The Game Awards 2025 will air on December 11, 2025, honouring outstanding video games released this year, voice actors, content creators, and more. As many gamers anticipate the night to root for their favourite games and witness many exciting new projects, Geoff Keighley has revealed the nominees for each category, from the Game of the Year to the best Esports team.

From the comfort of their home, fans can tune in to The Game Awards 2025 across 30 digital platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Steam, and, for the first time, Prime Video. In addition to the awards show arriving on Amazon Prime Video, The Game Awards 2025 will broadcast in 1440p on Twitch for the first time, and viewers who watch 30 minutes of the livestream can receive Twitch Drops, including in-game content and limited-time TGA chat badges.
With the nominees unveiled, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 makes history at The Game Awards, leading with 12 nominations and becoming the most-nominated game in the awards show’s history. Shifting to the publishers, Sony Interactive Entertainment is the most nominated, with 19 nominations, followed by Kepler Interactive with 13 nominations, and Electronic Arts and Microsoft, which are tied with 10 nominations each.
