The Hidden Ones Pre-Alpha Playtest Has Been Postponed To February

Morefun Studios has announced The Hidden Ones pre-alpha playtest, originally planned for January, has been postponed to February following the feedback from the community. 

Originally planned for January, Morefun Studios shared a letter about their upcoming PC and mobile game, The Hidden Ones, which has postponed the pre-alpha test to February 27, 2025, following the feedback from the community. With the extra time, the development team hope to use the time to focus on the content, localization, and overall quality to deliver the best quality experience in the early stages.

Breaking down the letter, Morefun Studios has thanked their fans for the love and support The Hidden Ones has received, alongside plenty of feedback. With their objective to deliver a quality pre-alpha experience, the team are taking the feedback provided paired with the internal decision to improve on the playtest experience by postponing the experience to February 27, 2025. During the extra time before the playtest the team hopes to improve:

• Localization – Focus on the quality of the localization of the in-game texts and scripts to make sure many regions understand the lore of The Hidden Ones.
• New Tutorial – Improve and revamp the tutorial to help players better understand the game mechanics and master the combat from the beginning. 
• Overall content quality – To make a great first impression of the game, the team will invest in implementing optimization to elevate the game experience.  

Wrapping up the letter, the development team apologized for postponing the play-alpha playtest, as they want to practice the essential spirit of The Hidden Ones by bringing attention to details with years of practice as one of the keys to becoming a Martial Arts Masters. Morefun Studios will also be making its first official appearance among the player’s community by displaying its spirit through the experience, even in pre-alpha.
