Dataminers have hit the internet today with information surrounding the new Fortnite season, and it involves a collab with The Simpsons, a new map, and more.
Fortnite has been on a roll with big collabs lately, bringing pop culture trends in-game like KPop Demon Hunters and musical acts like Daft Punk. It appears there’s no collab too out of bounds for Epic Games, and according to a torrent of leaks by dataminers (and after being teased in June), Fortnite is reportedly going to Springfield in a new The Simpsons collaboration. Like KPop Demon Hunters before it, some collabs are large enough for the Battle Royale title to craft their very own game modes (like Demon Rush), and The Simpsons apparently fits the bill, according to leaks.
According to known Fortnite leaker NotPalo (and found by VGC), The Simpsons is a big enough collab to warrant not only its own game mode, but the collab will allegedly encompass an entire mini-season, and an entire Springfield map will be included, with separate sections that will feel like home to The Simpsons faithful. To immerse The Simpsons further in-game, the Springfield map will be cel-shaded, keeping the art style of The Simpsons animated series intact. It’s also worth mentioning that the user NotPalo has #EpicPartner in the account’s bio.
The Simpsons have notably been silent in the video game space for years. The franchise hasn’t seen a game launch since Arcade1UP relaunched the fan-favourite The Simpsons Arcade to one of their official cabinets, and before that, The Simpsons haven’t had a new game release for years.
According to another dataminer, Loolo_WRLD, they ‘confirm’ the battle royale will get a The Simpsons mini-season that will have a runtime for just under a month, and they think the season is coming sooner than fans think. According to these leaks and dataminers, The Simpsons Fortnite release date is Saturday, November 1, 2025. According to the leaks, the new chapter will reportedly go live immediately following the end of Fortnitemares 2025 on October 31.
Despite the previous accuracy of datamines and leaks, it’s worth noting that Epic Games has not made an official announcement regarding The Simpsons, so fans should take the leaks with a grain of salt until a formal announcement is made.
