Mobile gaming has had another busy week, with the big launches of Disney Pixel RPG and Moraibo Go. Hoyoverse also continues strong with the Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 launch.

As Halloween approaches, mobile gaming continues to make serious headlines. With Microsoft’s just-revealed plans to launch their marketplace on the Xbox mobile app, due to a court ruling forcing Google to allow competition, the future of mobile gaming looks promising. Xbox games can be purchased as early as Nov. 1, directly from Android.

Aside from the Xbox mobile news, two new games have launched this week adding to the growing list of mobile gaming launches for October 2024, with Moraibo Go and Disney Pixel RPG. But that’s not all, as HoYoverse hasn’t rested and they’ve also launched the Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 update for fans to continue their adventures in the Imaginary Tree.

Moraibo GO Unleashes a New Flavour of Creature Collecting

A new flavour of in-your-pocket creature collecting has landed this week, and it’s called Moraibo GO. Created by Big Games Machine, Moraibo GO has joined marketplaces everywhere just after PalWorld announced they would also be taking their monster-collecting title to mobile devices. Moraibo GO invites players to go solo or play with friends while collecting Mira, the game’s version of collectible creatures. There are over 100 Mira to find and capture, and players can create their own home base and invite others into their world. Moraibo GO is free to play, and fans can dive in today.

Disney Pixel RPG Has Finally Launched for Mobile!

The previously teased title from GungHo Online Entertainment has finally launched this week, and fans can dive into the action starting today. Disney Pixel RPG is a free-to-play mobile RPG that embraces the old-school charm of pixel sprite artwork and incorporates fan-favourite Disney characters into the mix. Disney Pixel RPG is a turn-based strategic RPG that takes inspiration from the pixelated Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.

Fans can insert themselves into the game with a pixelated character creator, allowing them to adventure with Disney favourites through various Disney universes as a pixelated version of themselves. The Disney faithful can jump into the world of Disney Pixel RPG to stifle chaos starting today.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.6 Takes Fans Back to Penacony

This week, HoYoverse pulled back the curtain on the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail version 2.6 release, and it appears fans will be returning to a familiar locale: Penacony. After the current adventure in Xianzhou concludes, players will head back to Penacony to explore Paperfold University, a renowned intergalactic establishment preparing for a new semester. Players will return to take part in an exclusive academic seminar, loaded with event-based activities.

This is where fans can meet the new five-star recruit Rappa, and reroll other potentially missed five-star characters like Dan Heng. The crew of the Astral Express has been invited as distinguished guests to partake in the festivities, and version 2.6 will further introduce the much-anticipated third Simulated Universe DLC, following Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears. The upcoming version 2.6 launch will commence on October 23, and fans can visit the official HoYoverse site for more information prior to launch.
