It’s worth noting that although Path of Exile 2 is an early access title, it’s still blowing up Steam Charts. For the past 30 days, Steam Charts has the title listed at #6 with over 140,000 current players and thousands of hours played. Single-player titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle have taken a notable dive off the charts, which could be attributed to replayability, while live service darlings like Marvel Rivals continue to surge in popularity.
According to Steam Charts, three titles (Delta Force, Path of Exile 2 and Marvel Rivals) from the Top Steam Games December 2024 list remain top 10 popular titles for January 2025, but it remains to be seen if that popularity continues on the top Steam game listing considering January 2025 was host to new releases like DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGIN and the Darkest Dungeon II Kingdoms DLC (the latter has seen a +223% boost in its playerbase in the last 48 hours).
