The independent studio founded in 2020 by game industry veterans, Red Square Games S.A, has proudly announced its first title, Twilight Imperium Digital, an adaptation of the hit board game to PC.
Have you ever wanted to play your tabletop board game on PC? Well, Twilight Imperium fans have just got their wish, as Red Square Games S.A. has officially announced today that they’re bringing the strategy/diplomacy-based Asmodee board game to PCs everywhere with Twilight Imperium Digital. Led by game industry veterans, Red Square Games has set out to make a faithful recreation of the iconic strategy game, but now reimagined for digital play. The announcement trailer can be seen below, showcasing the diplomatic gameplay Imperium is known for, but on the digital plane.
Fans and newcomers alike can find Twilight Imperium Digital to be as close to the authentic tabletop experience as possible, and that was Red Square Games’ mission. Fans can command one of 17 unique factions fighting for control of the galaxy through diplomacy, warfare, trade, and political maneuvering, basically, space Game of Thrones. The title has been streamlined for the digital space, making players available to jump into a game of Twilight Imperium wherever they have service. Newcomers (and rusty veterans) can find a guided introduction with the digital edition, bringing the entire Twilight Imperium experience to fans fingertips, with or without another player to show you the ropes.
