Recent pictures prove that Cobie Smulders and Samuel L Jackson are not done with the MCU.Pictures taken on the 21 of January show Smulders who players agent Maria Hill and Jackson who plays Colonel Nick Fury, filming a new Marvel Movie. It is not clear what Marvel movie however.
The most likely guess would be the new Avengers: Infinity War. This would make sense as both the pictures and the filming were done in Atlanta. The filming for the new Avengers movie stopped last month however.
“I wasn’t in the ‘superhero argument’ movie [ie Captain America: Civil War], I’m not in Avengers 3 and 4,” Jackson told Yahoo Movies.
There is another movie that these two could be making their big return in, Captain Marvel. In the recent pictures we see Fury without his trademark eye patch.
Kevin Feige, President of Marvel studios said that a two-eyed Fury would appear in Captain Marvel. At the moment it is still unclear which Marvel movie these two characters will make their big comeback.
