Naughty Dog has announced their new IP that will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, set thousands of years in the future.
From the creators of The Last of Us, UNCHARTED, and Crash Bandicoot, Naughty Dog has announced their new IP for the PlayStation 5, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. Set thousands of years in the future, the players are stranded on Semprira as a dangerous bounty hunters.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is about Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter stranded on Sempira, a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark a hundred years ago. To escape the Sempiria, Jordan will need to use all her skills and knowledge if she wants to be the first person in over 600 years to leave the orbit.
Showcased in the Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Jordan is shown talking to a lady about a mission to hunt down a man named Colin Graves, who people may know is the comedian Kumail Nanjiani. The game is set in space with a retro aesthetic mix, similar to the Guardian of the Galaxy, as Jordan is shown riding a Porsche spacecraft and listening to her music using a Compact disc in a Sony automotive head unit. As she lands on the planet, she dons her sabre blade and clashes against the robotic giant wielding a sabre axe.
Quite an exciting new IP from Naughty Dog, and very eager to see what Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet has in store as we learn more about the sci-fi game. To learn more about the game, be sure to visit the Naughty Dog blog.
