Valorant Masters Toronto 2025: Our Grand Final Predictions

Valorant Masters Toronto 2025’s lower bracket match kicks off today, determining who will face Paper Rex tomorrow for the grand final match.

Who will hoist the Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 trophy this weekend? With the number three seed from the Pacific region, Paper Rex, locking in their win yesterday against China’s number three seed, Wolves Esports, we have a better idea of what the grand final match could look like. With the way all four teams performed yesterday, G2 Esports fell short—eliminating the last hope for the Americas region. Fnatic stayed alive in the lower bracket, hoping to punch their ticket to the grand final.

One of the initial takeaways from Paper Rex and Wolves’ games yesterday was how close they were, despite Wolves dropping two games in a row, in the Best of 3 series. Even though Paper Rex always pulls out some unnatural plays and tactics, Wolves met Paper Rex’s crazy. Wolves’ IGL, Pong Gaa Hei (SiuFatBB) never lost his cool. He was consistently hyping up his team, and he looked like he absorbed a lot of information—should Wolves rematch Paper Rex in the grand final.

Looking at Valorant Masters Toronto 2025’s lower bracket, Fnatic managed to keep EMEA’s last hope alive. Fnatic’s IGL, Jake Howlett (Boaster), led his team to a definitive win against G2—despite Fnatic taking a bit to warm up. However, it did not stop Fnatic from winning both maps, 13-10. Fnatic hopes to clean up their plays and aim on certain maps in order for them to have a chance at winning the grand final.

The question remains: who will win today’s matchup? Fnatic have been a solid team, never really stuck in a slump with Boaster’s optimism and energy. Emir Ali Beder (Alfajer) and Kajetan Haremski’s (kaajak) Op skills have been bar none throughout this tournament, nailing shots through smokes or headshotting jump peaks. Alfajer’s Op crutch plays have been compared to the aim of Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker aka El Diablo (currently on Evil Geniuses). Fnatic’s ability to hold down sites and methodically retake sites is unparalleled.

Wolves’ main strength is how much they have had the plot armour during this major tournament. Coming into Valorant Masters Toronto 2025 as the third seed, not many believed they would make it out of the Swiss stage or early Playoffs. Against all odds, SiuFatBB’s charisma and his wolf pack have charmed Toronto viewers—using the fans to keep up their momentum.

Last but certainly not least, Paper Rex. Their tragic story is how the team has always been performing at the highest level, on the world stage. However, they have a curse of placing either second or third in the past few years. This could be Paper Rex’s first international win, only if they could beat out the steady-aimed Fnatic or the ultra-hungry Wolves.
