Fans have unearthed a new domain registry that has increased Persona 4 Remake rumours and speculation to a boiling point.
It’s no secret that Persona 3 Reload was a success, reaching over 1 million units sold in the first week of launch. SEGA wanting to embrace that success further is easy to surmise, and today, Persona content YouTuber known as @ScrambledFaz on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed a new domain registry that can add more fuel to the speculative remake fire. The content creator writes, “p4re. jp was registered a few hours ago” comparing the domain registry to Persona 3 Reload‘s with “2 years ago, p3re. jp was registered. 3 months later Persona 3 Reload was revealed.” The posting can be seen below.
It’s worth mentioning that not every domain registry or patent filed will lead to media creation. However, as ScrambledFaz points out, Persona 3 Reload followed a remarkably similar pattern before its release. Although the domain is registered and is strikingly similar to the Persona 3 Reload domain (which still exists), this is far from an official announcement—especially considering that the name listed under “Registrant” is marked as “not displayed by registrant’s request.”
In terms of speculation, if the name had said “Atlus,” a Persona 4 remake would likely be all but confirmed. However, according to the domain lookup site WhoIs (the same one used by Faz), p3re.jp is listed almost exactly the same, with the registrant redacted at their request.

Interestingly, on February 21, a singer who worked on many songs for Persona 4 (and its many spin-offs), Shihoko Hirata, posted to her Instagram account to announce they were working on a new title. The post reads “Recording for a new game today! The piece is pretty tough, so I’m a bit nervous about getting it right. But I’ll do my best!”
Although all of these circumstantial events regarding a Persona 4 Remake have occurred, fans should take the speculation with a grain of salt, considering no official announcement has been confirmed of this posting.
