A new limited time event is coming to the World of Tanks, and it includes a fan-favourite crime family series, Peaky Blinders.
The new partnership between Wargaming and Banijay Rights has announced today that the new limited time event coming to the World of Tanks battle pass involves Peaky Blinders. The BATTLE PASS SPECIAL: PEAKY BLINDERS is reminiscent of previous seasons like the previous BATTLE PASS SPECIAL: RAMBO, where players can earn a variety of Peaky Blinders-themed rewards during the special season runtime.
After a Holiday extravaganza with Jason Statham at the helm, and a new game announcement with Steel Hunters, Wargaming continues to put their foot on the gas and provide new events for fans on their platform. The new BATTLE PASS SPECIAL: PEAKY BLINDERS gives players the ability to recruit five of the most iconic figures from the hit crime series. Arthur Shelby, John Shelby, Ada Shelby, Michael Gray, and of course, Tommy Shelby can be recruited while the Battle Pass is active. The characters come fully voiced, adding the show’s signature flair to the battlefield of World of Tanks.
The ultimate reward for the Battle Pass Special is a the Tier IX Premium French Medium tank – Char Murat, and it comes wrapped in a special “Tommy” 3D style. The tank is in a style that can be commonly found on the battlefield of World War I, a moment in history that remains an important event for the Peaky Blinders brothers, considering the ramifications the war has had on the series as a whole.
Other Peaky Blinders-themed cosmetics can be applied to player vehicles as well to show off a player’s fandom, and a special soundtrack has been prepared for fans of the show to feel like they’re inside of an episode instead of on a battlefield before each fray.
The World of Tanks BATTLE PASS SPECIAL: PEAKY BLINDERS will run from March 20 until March 31, and players can start earning this week. Fans can head to the official Wargaming website for more announcements.
