The Initiative has provided an update to the Perfect Dark at the Xbox Games Showcase, developed by Crystal Dynamics and giving us a look into the gameplay!
After four years of being announced at the Xbox Games Showcase 2020, fans of the classic Perfect Dark can rejoice as the gameplay trailer has been unveiled. The Perfect Dark reboot gives us a glimpse into the world as we take on the role of agent Joanna Dark, embarking on her mission to hunt down Daniel Carrington, the world’s most wanted criminal.
From the Perfect Dark gameplay trailer, we are shown a brief glimpse into a mission as Joanna Dark is hunting down Carrington as she analyzes the people and sneaks past the guards. As she gathers information and uses gadgets to bypass security, she is shown performing parkours to reach areas without being noticed, and eventually entering the computer room as she is armed to prepare for the worst.
Transitioning to the combat, Joanna is ambushed by the guards and has to fend for herself. During the combat, Joanna is equipped with a pistol as she tase and shoots the guards while also performing hand-to-hand combats. But as she engages in the combat, it is very stylish as she is shown sliding to reach her targets, jumping to disarm the enemies, and shooting the guards while disarming at the same time. Quite a fascinating look into the combat!
From the Perfect Dark gameplay being revealed at the Xbox Game Showcase 2024, fans of the classic can rejoice as they finally get an update to the game from being announced years ago. As for the release date, it has not been announced as it is still in development but will be released on day one on the Xbox Game Pass!
