The upcoming Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch 2 features a new trailer and an all-star English cast with big names from recent series releases.
In a dual announcement for Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have unveiled the cast for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 port, featuring instantly recognizable names associated with the franchise in recent releases. SEGA also revealed a new trailer featuring the title’s theme song, “Bubble” by Shōnan no Kaze. The trailer, packed with the game’s signature antics, is available to view below alongside the complete cast list.

Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is what SEGA calls the “definitive edition” to play the origin story of the franchise on the Nintendo Switch 2. Series regular Goro Majima is voiced once again by Matt Mercer, and Yong Yea returns as Kazuma Kiryu since taking on the role in Like a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name. The Director’s Cut also features many new cutscenes exclusive to the Director’s Cut, and a new Red Light Raid mode where players can team up to take down hordes of enemies.
Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is described by SEGA as the “definitive edition” for experiencing the origin story of the franchise on the Nintendo Switch 2.
