As Zenless Zone Zero approaches its first anniversary HoYoverse has revealed details surrounding the upcoming Season 2, and it will arrive on June 6.
Earlier this morning, HoYoverse continued its expected update schedule and deployed the Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0 Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn Special Program for fans to take a look at what’s to come for Version 2.0. HoYoverse normally rolls out the red carpet in a similar manner for its previous titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, launching a massive “Special Program” video to prepare fans waiting to jump into seasonal updates, and Zenless Zone Zero is no different. The entire special program on Where Clouds Embrace The Dawn can be seen below.
After previous events made players join forces with the Mockingbird, Zenless Zone Zero will ship Proxies to Waifei Peninsula (a district located far from New Eridu) at the request of the New Eridu Mayor. At Failume Heights — the major city of the new region — players will get to manage the operations of Suibian Temple and forge alliances with new characters.
Guided by the High Preceptor of Yunkui Summit, Yixuan, Proxies will uncover the enigmatic power hidden within the protagonists of Zenless Zone Zero to harness the force of Ether. This will unlock new gameplay elements and abilities utilizing the power of Ether and Proxies can unlock new combat potential during Hollow explorations.
To commemorate the arrival of the one-year-anniversary of Zenless Zone Zero, players will be able to select one S-Rank Agent and one S-Rank W-Engine for free from the Stable Banner. Players will also receive in-game rewards, including 1,600 Polychromes and 20 Encrypted Master Tapes upon completing certain tasks in Version 2.0.
