The BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 Portable Power Station, the latest in the Elite series refresh, offers an array of useful features, a more compact form factor than its predecessor and an overall performance boost. With full support for multiple charging methods, power outputs and remote control through the BLUETTI app, the Elite 100 V2 is shaping up to be an upgrade in nearly every way. But is it enough to justify its $799.99 price tag? Grab a coffee and let’s find out.
Built with the same care and consideration as its predecessor, the AC180, the Elite 100 V2 features a sturdy build and an easy-to-manage layout. Like the Elite 30 V2, it builds on earlier designs and refines them into a more compact format. This has long been a strength of BLUETTI’s design philosophy and a consistent high point in the company’s products I’ve reviewed.

Design touches such as a moulded carry handle integrated into the casing for a sturdier grip, along with a clear, well-laid-out display that offers quick access to key information, help set the Elite 100 V2 apart from competitors. I also appreciate that with each iteration of BLUETTI’s power stations, the company has worked to make them lighter and more compact.
“The BLUETTI Elite 100 V2 Portable Power Station offers an array of useful features, a more compact form factor than its predecessor and an overall performance boost.”
Such is the case with the Elite 100 V2, which weighs 12 pounds less than the AC180, at 25 pounds, compared with the latter’s 37 pounds. The more compact form factor, measuring 12.6 x 8.5 x 9.8 inches, enhances its portability. Despite a slightly smaller battery capacity of 1,024 Wh (20 Ah), the Elite 100 V2 remains impressively compact.
Compared to its predecessor, the Elite 100 V2 features several notable updates. For starters, it delivers higher surge power, rated at 3,600 W versus the AC180’s 2,700 W. Life cycles are also considerably improved, with more than 4,000 cycles to 80% capacity, an increase of 500 over the AC180. Finally, the Elite 100 V2 supports faster charging, an improved port selection and the addition of two USB-C ports rated at 100 W and 140 W. Together, these make it a strong option for portable electronics.

The only feature not present on the Elite 100 V2, which was a critique I had of the Elite 30 V2, is the removal of the Wireless charging pad. While not a necessity, I did appreciate this quality-of-life feature in the AC70P Power Station from last year. I was a bit disappointed to see it removed with the release of the Elite models.
In terms of performance, the Elite 100 V2, like the rest of the series, performs exceptionally well. It offers a wide range of features that make it adaptable to many situations and settings. As a portable power station, its compact size and strong battery capacity make it suitable for car camping trips, power outages or as a backup UPS.
Thanks to multiple charging methods — including solar, AC, DC through a car outlet or Charger1, and dual charging — the Elite 100 V2 can be recharged quickly and kept ready for use. Turbo charging, a series staple, is also included and works as advertised, bringing the Elite 100 V2 from zero to 80 per cent in about 45 minutes. In testing, it reached a full charge in roughly 70 minutes, in line with expectations.

Another strength is how quiet the Elite 100 V2 (and the 30 V2) is during operation. Even while powering devices, the unit stays whisper-quiet. This reflects BLUETTI’s ongoing refinement of its power stations, which is evident across the Elite series.
“Despite a slightly smaller battery capacity of 1,024 Wh, the Elite 100 V2 remains impressively compact.”
When powering devices, the Elite 100 V2 performs impressively again. I ran my desktop PC, laptop, tablet and phone off the unit for a full day and still had charge to spare. I also tested my Breville Barista Express espresso machine to see how it handled a sudden, heavier power draw, and the results were strong. It has even made me reconsider how I make coffee while camping.
Running more power-hungry devices is possible thanks to the Elite 100 V2’s 2,700 W lifting power, which can handle higher output for short periods. It is a proven system across BLUETTI’s power stations and works exceptionally well in the 100 V2 and throughout the Elite series.

One of the features I value most in the Elite 100 V2 is its instant backup during power outages. With a 10 ms UPS switchover, it can seamlessly power a crucial device without disruption. I have tested this with each BLUETTI product I have reviewed and have consistently been impressed with the results.
In testing the Elite 100 V2, I ran my main gaming rig and modem on the unit, then flipped the breaker for that portion of the house. Without hesitation, the power station took over and maintained service without interruption. In times of need, I feel confident BLUETTI will perform.
“It delivers higher surge power, rated at 3,600 W versus the AC180’s 2,700 W, and supports faster charging with improved port selection.”
Managing the 100 V2’s settings is straightforward thanks to the onboard controls and the downloadable BLUETTI app. Connected via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, the app offers full control and access to real-time statistics. Once connected to Wi-Fi, the Elite 100 V2 can be monitored and managed remotely, which is useful if you want to turn devices on or off before arriving home.

A standout feature is the UPS working modes, which give users flexible control over how the Elite 100 V2 operates. In addition to standard UPS mode, the unit can be optimized for time control, PV priority, or a fully customized setup for advanced users. It is intuitive, easy to use and provides a level of control not often found in other portable power stations.
The Elite 100 V2 is a strong evolution of the AC180, offering a refined and compact user experience. BLUETTI has done well to improve this latest iteration of its power stations, making the 100 V2 a solid addition to the Elite lineup. While the $799.99 price may give some users pause, its durable, reliable build and thoughtful features make a strong case for considering it as your next portable power solution.
