I live in an apartment with no overhead lighting. Things get dark, and I consider myself queen of the lamps. When the Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp came up, I was happy to take it on. For one, more light is always better (but never the big light), but mainly because movie night with the kids is so much cooler when you can bring a theme to your lighting.
At home, we currently have two lamps with smart bulbs behind the TVs (yes, there are two TVs—we are gamers). I also have one blinding boring light behind the couch for when I actually need to see what I am doing. However, my desk area can be very, very dark, since it is in the corner. I was hoping the Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp would be the solution to all my problems.
The verdict is…yes and no. The Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp is a great addition to our lighting setup, but I can’t say that the light itself is particularly amazing at making things brighter. What it is great at, though, is ambiance. But I am getting ahead of myself.
Set up for the Lepro OE1 is pretty simple. You are met with a few sections of metal, a rubber-like strip, and all the screws and other parts you need. It is pretty self-explanatory, but the instructions are there if you think you need them. My only complaint is that the rubber strip is easy to tear if you don’t get it in quite right.

It is impossible to pull back out without damage, and in my case, when I got it all in the bar, it was about two centimetres from the top. You can’t just tug to pull it up, so I had to slowly inch it up by sliding my fingers up the section while applying pressure. There was one slight tear, but now that everything is together, it is barely noticeable.
Now that everything is together and the lamp sits in the corner, the Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp faces the wall to reflect light and designs, all based on what you choose. It takes up almost no space, which is also perfect for apartment living. The lamp offers 1000 lumens at 2700K for regular, everyday use. It also features 16 million colours for something with a bit more oomph.
The app is where I fell in love with the Lepro OE1, however. I have recently been fighting with apps like Govee constantly disconnecting or just being all around unintuitive. The Lepro app is so incredibly easy to use. Things connected without issue—life is good. It was also just as easy to pair it with Alexa, meaning my whole setup is simple to control together. I will note that sometimes it doesn’t want to turn on or off with our living room group, but I think that might be an Alexa problem, not a Lepro problem.
For those willing to dive in, the Lepro OE1 offers some really neat experiences in terms of setting up your lighting. With the lamp’s AI lighting, you can take a photo, and it will create a few lighting options to choose from, including animation, plain white/yellow light and colours. You can also offer voice prompts, so I asked for lighting fit for a rave, for someone who loves Minnie Mouse. I tested, and the Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp came through. There were animated options cycling through colours, rainbows, pinks and purples. Anything I could ask for.
A smart lamp wouldn’t be complete without music sync, and the Lepro OE1 does not disappoint. Whether you are using the audio in the room or music streaming from your device, the Lepro OE1 is very sensitive to noise in the room. The music sync even picked up a siren going off outside and reacted to my typing when music wasn’t playing.
The Lepro OE1 AI Corner Floor Lamp is a space-saving, mood-enhancing addition to any home. Though I can’t say it is the best lamp if you’re just looking for overall brightness, it is great for a good glow and overall ambiance. Paired with ease of use, the Lepro OE1 is easy to recommend to anyone looking to spruce up their space.
