The SAMA L70 Series AIO is a performance-first all-in-one cooler designed to create an efficient cooling loop. From its 22-mm-thick 120-mm fans to its ceramic pump, the L70 series aims to deliver the performance of a premium AIO at a more budget-friendly price point. Available in 360-mm and 240-mm formats and in two colours, white and black, SAMA’s latest AIO CPU solution offers plenty to be impressed with.
While it follows the standard design of most modern AIOs, the SAMA L70 includes several features that help improve overall performance. The most notable is its three 28-mm-thick 120-mm fans mounted on a 27-mm radiator. These variable-speed fans operate between 800 and 2,200 RPM and deliver up to 72.3 cubic feet per minute of airflow through the radiator. This is a strong level of airflow while maintaining a relatively quiet 28 dB.

The radiator itself features a fairly standard external design. Internally, however, it is constructed to optimize coolant flow through 12 chambers. This layout is designed to quickly dissipate heat from the CPU, helping maintain consistent operating temperatures.

This performance is further supported by SAMA’s newly designed ceramic pump, which optimizes liquid circulation to maintain consistent flow over the CPU, regardless of duration or load. The L70 series pump also features a 1.5-mm-thick copper plate that covers the full CPU surface, allowing for even heat extraction. Combined, these elements deliver an impressive cooling experience, which is discussed in more detail below.
The water block features what SAMA calls a chamfered infinity mirror design. The RGB-illuminated block has a distinctive faceplate that offers full RGB customization. The fans also support full RGB lighting, making it easy to match the theme of existing hardware. One limitation is that SAMA does not offer proprietary software for RGB control. As a result, lighting must be managed through third-party software or a case’s built-in controls. Both methods were tested with the L70 and integrated seamlessly into the existing ecosystem.

The SAMA L70 fits comfortably in most mid-tower cases. For this installation, it was top-mounted in the SAMA V60 mid-tower case, with a review forthcoming. With mounting brackets for Intel LGA 115X, 1200, 1700 and 1851 sockets, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5, the 360-mm version received for review is straightforward to install and work with.
The 400 mm of FEP tubing provides more than enough length to position the CPU pump with ease. The overall build quality of the L70 is impressive, with everything from the fans to the tubing feeling durable and solid to work with. Several thoughtful quality-of-life design elements also stand out. Two tube clamps help achieve a clean, professional-looking installation and include a cable tray for neatly routing the AIO power and RGB cables. The mounting screws are substantial, making them easy to thread into place, unlike some other AIO mounting systems.
Installation on an AM5 motherboard is straightforward. The standard backplate accommodates the two included brackets, and the tension screws thread smoothly onto the mounting posts. SAMA also includes a tube of Freezee thermal paste, which is a solid option among thermal compounds.

Performance is equally impressive. Under load testing, the SAMA L70 consistently maintained temperatures around 60°C without issue. During extended endurance testing, with the system running at full load, temperatures remained stable and cool. While the overall design contributes significantly to thermal efficiency, performance is further enhanced by the pump’s variable speed, which operates between 2,000 and 3,000 RPM for sustained periods. Even at these speeds, the AIO maintains noise levels below 28 dB, resulting in efficient and quiet cooling.
“At $69.99, the L70 delivers excellent performance in a polished package.”
While these results are strong on their own, the most compelling aspect is the price. At $69.99, the L70 delivers excellent performance in a polished package. SAMA has produced a well-designed AIO that offers strong cooling at a sub-$100 price point, making it my favourite budget AIO to date. It combines appealing aesthetics with consistently reliable thermal performance.

The SAMA L70 Series AIO is among the best budget all-in-one coolers currently available. SAMA has delivered premium-level performance, refined design elements and several thoughtful quality-of-life features. With straightforward integration into an existing system, or as a strong choice for a new build, the L70 Series AIO is a CPU cooling solution I would confidently recommend to budget-conscious users seeking a high-end cooling experience.
