Some people love cleaning, while others simply cannot be bothered. Luckily, we are in a sort of renaissance when it comes to robot vacuums. We are able to find something that fits the needs of our homes, or even our cleaning habits. This year, Yeedi added the Yeedi M14 Plus robot vacuum to their large catalog, and I have to say, this might be one of the best on the market. Not only are you getting a very intelligent robot vacuum, but you’re also getting a robot mop that won’t only clean your house very thoroughly, but it will also self-clean.
I’ve never once in my life owned a robot vacuum, and truthfully, never cared or wanted to buy one. I’m old school, I believe in cleaning my house the old-fashioned way. I used to think that folks who had these robot vacuums were lazy, but after my time with the Yeedi M14 Plus, I was wrong. The experience I had with this robot vacuum was honestly eye-opening, and I now understand the hype. The ability to clean your house with just the touch of a button is really nice, especially on those low-energy days.
It’s obvious that the Yeedi M14 Plus robot vacuum will not clean your living space from top to bottom, and accurately clean up every corner, nook and cranny but, it will do a damn good job that much I assure. The app was fairly easy to navigate, and I really enjoyed seeing the process of where the robot had cleaned. Upon start-up, you program the robot to scan your living space, and it will detect obstacles like tables, chairs, desks, fireplaces, etc. This process is a bit time-consuming, but the Yeedi M14 Plus will take a few laps around each and every room to ensure an accurate mapping of your living space.
The setup was quick and easy. Right out of the box, you get prompted to attach the brush attachment, download the app, scan the QR code on the robot, and then go about getting up your rooms or floors in your living space. The app, though pretty easy to navigate, does present some bugs. I’m not sure if it’s my phone, but sometimes, in the lower part of the app, I can’t fully access the buttons; they are cut off. I downloaded the app on my Google Pixel 9a as well as on my partner’s Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and experienced the same problem.
This is not a deal breaker, just annoying when you’re trying to hit a button on the lower part of the screen, you’ll have to make a few attempts before the screen press is registered. That being said, I love the fact that I can remote start the robot vacuum from anywhere as long as I have a consistent internet connection at home. The app shows you where the robot vacuum has been and how many times it has visited the rooms it was tasked to clean. Another really great feature with the Yeedi M14 Plus is that it sends a notification to your phone to let you know when the water needs to be cleaned for the mop and also when the trash container needs to be emptied.
One key and genuinely cool feature of the Yeedi M14 Plus is its upgraded all-in-one Omni station. This station is the home base for the robot vacuum, and it does a really great job at helping you help it, literally. What I mean by that is integrates functions like Auto-Empty, filtering out the dirty water from the robot back into to Omni stations dirty water container, hot water washing station, auto small tank refill, which adds back the water and cleaning solution from the Omni station to the robot vacuum as well as hot air drying.

In addition to this, the OZMO Roller instant self-washing mopping technology is fantastic. This system offers ultra-high pressure and speed during the cleaning process to ensure that the mop remains clean throughout the entire cleaning process. This means that it does things like remove first and prevents streaks while leaving minimum water residue for very fast cleaning. With that, it takes away a lot of the hard work from the user since you won’t have to consistently do a deep clean on the Yeedi M14 Plus after each and every clean. There are instructions for how to do this (deep clean), but it’s not needed as often as you think.
We must always respect our robot overlords, even when they get confused and stuck on items in your home that render them useless. Obviously, technology isn’t perfect, and with the Yeedi M14 plus, I did experience a few hiccups while cleaning. On several occasions, the robot got stuck between the chairs in my family room, shoes in my main hallway, and the runner at my front door. This happened one too many times for my liking.

When going through the owner’s manual of the device, it does mention to ensure that you do not have any carpets with frilly edges and to remove objects like untidy or loose shoes from the main cleaning areas. That being said, with ample space, this robot still ended up getting stuck, which was a bit frustrating. Essentially, once you tell it to vacuum and or mop, it will do it, and do it well, very consistently.
I can comfortably say that the Yeedi M14 Plus vacuum and mop can truly be for anyone. With that being said, it does have a pretty hefty price tag, coming in at $1399 USD, which is roughly the same price as some high-end Dysons. With that being said, if you find yourself on the go or just want a hand with cleaning your home, I would certainly recommend the Yeedi M14 Plus to everyone. I
It’s a low-maintenance robot vacuum and mop that consistently does an excellent job cleaning and mopping. Be prepared to have it get stuck a few times while setting it up, and maybe a few more times down the line, but other than that, this is a great addition to anyone’s household cleaning appliances.
