Lepro has developed a reputation for creating lighting that is bright, brilliant and ornamental. They, themselves, look every bit as much like an art piece as they are a light for your room. The Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light is going to create both a beautiful lighting scheme and be a major conversation piece anywhere one may decide to place it.
In the box, you have the base for the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light and the light itself. Assembly of the two pieces left me nervous, as the pin connectors feel like they are certainly going to break as you try to insert them into the base. They, of course, did not, as the fit for the socket into the base is snug. It does require a firm push to snap it in place, though. Nerves aside, it was the fastest and easiest setup of the Lepro products that I have tested.
The Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light is a larger light for a table top lamp, which adds to its role as a conversation piece in any room. The three rings of light turn out in a gyroscopic manner to create a beautiful geometric shape, with each light capable of separate lighting control, be it one colour or gradient, still or in motion.

Outside of the power control on the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light, all of the lighting controls are handled via the Lepro App or via smart home controls if you have linked your Lepro lights to them. The Lepro app is simple in terms of connecting to your lights, but leaves a bit to be desired in terms of customization. Competing smart lights have a ton of preset lighting schemes that let you hit the ground running. Lepro, however, has taken a much different approach.
The Lepro App has presets for their music mode, but there are no presets for standard lighting schemes. They have leaned more on AI for you to ask for what you want in your lighting, which is a great idea when it works. Prompts will bring up a number of options for you, but I found, through many attempts over multiple lights, that I was never getting exactly what I wanted. You can also create prompts with photos, which I hoped would capture the colours in the photo, but seemed to have just gone rogue and made its own scheme.
You can still customize the lighting on the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light manually, filling in each section of light as you choose. However, the learning curve about what colours look the nicest together and the minutiae of actually assigning the colours doesn’t make for much of an inviting feature.
My issues with the ease of use of the app aside, the actual lighting on the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light is mesmerizing. I’ve tested multiple Lepro lights, and the colours are brilliant with amazingly smooth motion when set up to do so. With no hyperbole, I found myself staring at the light in motion for five straight minutes when I set it up as if it were hypnotizing me. Lepro is arguably my favourite brand at the moment for lighting quality, and the Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light might be the best at demonstrating why that is so.
The Lepro TB1 AI Smart Table Light comes in at $89.99 USD, a price that is worth it for the quality of the light. However, it desperately needs an update to its app controls to keep you from feeling that buyer’s remorse if you are the kind of person who likes to change up your lighting a lot. It is, without a doubt, a quality lamp that adds aesthetic to any room for its size and shape, as well as how it lights up your room.
