The momentum continues into day two in Boston at Penny Arcade Expo 2013.
In what is thought of the premiere day of the three day show, PAX East brought out the big guns in terms of presentations, and even bigger crowds. Here’s a taste of what Comics and Gaming Magazine was out covering.
– Wizard’s of the Coast gave us a so-far unseen demo of the newest Magic: The Gathering- Duel of the Planeswalkers game, with new information regarding its release on mobile devices (Android!).
– Hands-on demo of the upcoming console optimized port of Diablo III on PS3. We had the chance to also get the low-down on the process from designer Matt Berger.
– Impressions on some gameplay and concept videos for a whole slew of Ubisoft games, including Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
– Panel with developers of the Mass Effect franchise, who broke down the creation of the series from the first title, all the way to the last piece of Mass Effect 3 DLC, Citadel.
– Interview and gameplay of the world-class soda drinking simulation – Soda Drinker Pro.
