Fortnite has been quite popular for many reasons, from epic battles (no pun intended) to seasonal events. However, one of the biggest hits among fans has been crossover events, where the creators bring popular characters and personalities from pop culture into the game.
Most of these have been huge hits among gamers, while others have been, well, disappointing. Today, we’ll look at some of the best skins you can buy to enhance your gameplay on Epic Games’ Fortnite.
The Batman Who Laughs
The Batman Who Laughs is one of the most fascinating characters in the DC Universe. He is the alternate Earth version of Bruce Wayne. Except he kills his Joker, something that fuses him with the Joker’s traits. He now has the characteristics of both a hero and a villain. Oh, and the Joker’s unsettling laugh. Do not worry, though, as “you see…a Batman who laughs…is a Batman who always wins!”
Fortnite Batman Who Laughs skin was introduced as part of the Dark Multiverse set. It was added in Chapter 2: Season 8 and consists of The Batman Who Laughs Outfit, Robin’s Perch Back Bling, and a Dark Days Loading Screen.

Naruto
Fortnite also collaborated with the most famous anime in the world, Naruto. Epic Games would then introduce the character at the end of 2021 as part of a set that consists of Naruto Uzumaki, Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Itachi Uchiha, Orochimaru, Hinata Hyuga, Gaara, and their matching cosmetics.
In the set, you could enjoy being the unpredictable ninja and Jinchuriki host of the all-powerful nine-tailed beast as you join the battle royale. Of course, you can’t at the moment, but the Naruto skin will still allow you to embody the energetic and determined shinobi. You’ll also get cosmetic items like back bling, emotes, and pickaxes inspired by the anime.
Thanos
Thanos is inevitable. He came to Fortnite in Chapter 2: Season 7 and is part of the larger Marvel Series crossover, which is well represented in the game. Players could enjoy possessing his immense power when they found the Infinity Gauntlet on the map. And as you can expect, this gave them quite the edge in battle, enjoying devastating moves like the ground pound and energy beam.
Of course, Thanos is one of the biggest characters in the Marvel universe, so his entrance generated lots of buzz. This was first during the promotion of the two Marvel movies (it actually took two movies to defeat him) and later in 2021. The event is no longer available, but you can still get the Thanos skin.
John Wick
This is another legendary outfit and one of the most popular in Fortnite. It gives you a chance to embody Baba Yaga himself, the legendary assassin portrayed by Keanu Reeves in the film series. The skin was introduced as part of the John Wick Set, which consists of John Wick, Sofia, and their matching cosmetics. Getting the set allows players to become the feared hitman, complete with the bulletproof suit and cache of weapons.
The crossover did more than that, though. It came with Wick’s Bounty mode, which let players earn gold coins by eliminating opponents.
Star Wars
As you can expect, a Fortnite Star Wars collab is one of the game’s most popular and exciting events. It made its debut in 2019 with a live event called The Rise of Skywalker. This brought the iconic characters, weapons, and locations from a galaxy far, far away into the battle royale. Players could go into battle wielding lightsabers, with droids and even a Baby Yoda (Grogu) as companions.
Every year, ahead of Star Wars Day, Fortnite adds new skins and characters from the movies to the game. You can unlock skins of legendary characters such as Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, and The Mandalorian, along with their accessories.
