On Tuesday, Apple announced their streaming service Apple TV+ will let viewers watch their hit content for free the first weekend of 2025.
New Year’s Day is tomorrow, and to celebrate Apple TV+ is giving audiences around the world a chance to watch the streaming app’s offerings for free on the first weekend of the New Year. Apple posted the news over on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, with a small montage of their hit television offerings. That post can be seen below.
In an official press release, Apple said fans can enjoy their streaming platform “for free the first weekend of 2025 (January 3 through January 5), Apple TV+ will be free on any device” but fans will require an Apple ID to be granted access. The montage features hit Apple TV offerings such as Silo, Shrinking, Bad Sisters, Presumed Innocent, and Golden Globe nominees Slow Horses and Disclaimer. Fans will also be able to dive in to award-winning hits like The Morning Show and Ted Lasso. None of the content available on the streaming service will be off limits; it will all be free this weekend.
