Embark Studios announced that ARC Raiders is returning for its second public play-test, Tech Test 2, from April 30 to May 4 on PC and for the first time, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
From the creators of THE FINALS, ARC Raiders is hosting Tech Test 2 from April 30 to May 4, expanding the exploration in Rust Belt with more ARC enemies, tools, tweaks, and improvements based on the last playtest. As the players return to the game on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the upcoming title will be available to playtest on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for the first time.
ARC Raiders is an upcoming multiplayer title about players exploring the crumbling state of the Earth as Raiders, filled with towering ARC machines. As you build your legacy and construct your home in the underground neighbourhood of Speranza, players can complete quests from the traders for valuable loot, as they are required to trade for gears and upgrades for your home. But beware, as this won’t be an easy task with machines and other Raiders lurking to take you down. Whether playing alone or with up to three players, take the time to prepare, as every run is a gamble for their life.
Following ARC Raiders’ first playtest in October 2024, Executive Producer Aleksander Grøndal has shared: “Over the past six months, we’ve worked hard to expand the core experience, based on the community feedback. This is our chance to see how those changes perform at scale. We’re especially eager to gather feedback on progression, the combat experience, cross-platform performance, and how the experience feels now that it’s more expansive and layered.”
As players step into ARC Raiders Tech Test 2, the game will introduce many features alongside the tweaks and improvements, including a wider range of ARC enemies, more weapons, gear, and gadgets. Additionally, the player progression and crafting systems have been expanded, and players will get to preview the upcoming Battle Pass.
ARC Raiders will be released in 2025 on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. Players can visit the ARC Raiders website to learn more about the upcoming game and sign up for Tech Test 2.
