It’s no secret that ASUS and gaming are correlated, so at CES 2024, aside from the Republic of Gamers offerings, ASUS has revealed three new TUF gaming laptops that serve quality.
CES 2024 is well underway, and ASUS has already blasted through the reveals with their hefty ASUS ROG lineup. But that’s not all they had up their sleeves as at CES, ASUS pulled back the curtain on an all-new product line of TUF gaming laptops with the TUF Gaming F16, the TUF Gaming A16, and a neat refresh of the A15 laptop. All three come equipped with upgraded chassis’ and expansive displays. The choice is in the hands of the user this time around, as the lineup is available with Intel and AMD processors respectively, an upgrade from the former A15’s AMD-only option.
The latest generation of ASUS TUF Gaming laptops packs serious power for hardcore and mainstream gamers alike. The new TUF Gaming F16 features up to an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor with 14 cores and 20 threads, plus speedy DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus for high-performance gaming.
AMD enthusiasts can enjoy the TUF Gaming A16, which is configurable with up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7845HX CPU, DDR5-5200MHz memory, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU with Advanced Optimus. Rounding out the lineup, the refreshed TUF Gaming A15 offers AMD Ryzen 8000 processors, DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series graphics with Advanced Optimus. All three 2024 models boast two upgradeable memory and storage slots, military-grade 2024 MIL-STD-810H durability testing, and the signature resilience that TUF Gaming laptops are renowned for.
ASUS TUF A15, F16 & A16 Key Features Revealed at CES 2024
- The power is in your hands, consumers can choose their load outs, with the optionality of most components under the hood. CPU, GPU, and RAM are included to be customizable.
- All the TUF laptops promoted are upgradeable (including the A15), with two memory and storage slots available for expansion allowing each laptop to have a longer life than before, and each laptop has a blistering fast 165Hz refresh rate to keep users in the fight and out of performance dips.
- Durability continues to be built upon, with the F16 and A16 “tested to the new 2024 Military MIL-STD-810H standards for durability, including vibration, shock, altitude, and temperature resistance” ASUS boasts.
- ASUS revealed new 16-inch displays at CES 2024, and the F16 and A16 are equipped with a 16:10 aspect ratio display and thin bezels that make for a 90% screen-to-body ratio.
- The TUF Gaming A15 however, retains its slimmer 16:9 display, while all machines sport a resolution of 2.5K.
