With the Zenbook A14 leading the charge, ASUS has brought a full range of Copilot+ Laptops to CES 2025.

ASUS has once again showcased why it is one of the world’s leading makers of laptops and technology with a comprehensive expansion of its Copilot+ PC portfolio for CES 2025, introducing a diverse range of laptops powered by the latest processors from Qualcomm, AMD and Intel.

ASUS consistently brings some of the most exciting devices to CES and 2025 is no exception, with the groundbreaking Zenbook A14 leading the charge. This incredibly thin laptop is among the world’s lightest Copilot+ PCs, weighing just under one kilogram. It features ASUS’s innovative use of Ceraluminum, a proprietary material that is 30 per cent lighter than traditional anodized aluminum while offering superior scratch resistance and smudge-free properties.

Powered by the Snapdragon X Series AI-enabled processor, the laptop promises a staggering multi-working-day battery life while maintaining consistent performance. The device features a 14-inch FHD OLED NanoEdge display and incorporates advanced AI capabilities through its 45 TOPS Qualcomm Hexagon NPU. Judging by its appearance and performance at the ASUS hands-on event, the Zenbook A14 is a laptop to be excited about when it launches later in 2025.

Canadian consumers will have three configurations to choose from, with prices ranging from $1,199 to $1,499. The base model offers 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while the top-tier version boasts 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. All models will be available through select retailers and the ASUS Store.

The company did not stop there, with the full Zenbook range receiving updates for 2025. The sophisticated Zenbook 14 also saw some upgrades this year. It is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 7350 processor and features a stunning 3K 120 Hz OLED display, along with enhanced AI capabilities supported by a 50 TOPS NPU. The Zenbook 14 (UX3405CA-DS51-CA), equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 225H processor, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, will be available in mid-February 2025, starting at $1,399.

One of our favourite laptops from 2024 also received updates. The ASUS Zenbook DUO 2025 once again redefines what portable computing can be with its innovative dual 14-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED HDR NanoEdge touchscreens. This versatile laptop offers multiple usage modes, including Dual Screen, Desktop, Laptop and Screen Sharing capabilities. Despite its powerful features, it maintains remarkable portability at just 14.6 mm thin and 1.35 kg. The device is powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 processor with an integrated NPU, features a robust 75 Wh battery, and will be available in Canada this February starting at $2,499.

ASUS Vivobook 2025 Lineup

The new lineup highlights ASUS’s commitment to making AI technology more accessible, with the introduction of several new Vivobook models that bring advanced features to more affordable price points. The Vivobook 14 and 16 series, equipped with Snapdragon X processors, deliver a substantial 44 per cent performance boost compared to previous generations while doubling battery life.

Vice-president of device partner sales at Microsoft, Mark Linton, emphasizes the significance of this launch: “Copilot+ PCs are the fastest, most intelligent, and most secure Windows PCs ever built, with AI experiences that inspire productivity and creativity.”

ASUS’s new portfolio highlights significant technological advancements across all price points. The Vivobook series, starting at $999, brings AI capabilities to mainstream users, while the premium Zenbook models incorporate cutting-edge features like 3K OLED displays and advanced AI processing capabilities.

ASUS AI Innovation

The integration of AI extends beyond processing power. These new laptops feature practical AI-driven tools like StoryCube for intelligent file organization and Live Captions, which translate audio from more than 40 languages into English in real time. Security features have also been enhanced with AI cameras, Microsoft Pluton security processors, and Windows Hello authentication.

Senior vice-president and general manager of compute and gaming at Qualcomm Technologies, Kedar Kondap, states: “Working with ASUS exemplifies how Snapdragon technology is setting a new standard for performance, versatility, and user-centric innovation.”

The expanded lineup includes models powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 series processors, offering up to 50 TOPS AI performance, and Intel’s new Core Ultra processors (Series 2), which bring integrated AI capabilities and next-generation Arc GPUs to slim and sleek designs.

This comprehensive refresh of ASUS’s laptop lineup keeps with the company’s strategy to make AI-enabled computing more accessible while maintaining its position at the forefront of technological innovation.
