As players cause havoc across the fields, Battlefield Studios has shared a sneak peek of what veteran and new players can expect from Battlefield 6’s upcoming seasons throughout 2026. From Season 3 to 5, players can anticipate the return of many popular maps from the previous Battlefield titles, requested quality of life features, naval battles, and much more. Additionally, the Elite and Open competitive series will return this year for hardcore players to showcase their skills on the global stage.

Released in October 2025, Battlefield 6 thrusts players into an all-out warfare between NATO and PAX Armata, as players must gear up and strategize how to take down their enemies, whether on the ground or in the skies. Bringing chaos to the combat, the latest title features tactical destruction, a new Kinesthetic Combat System, the return of Campaign mode, various multiplayer modes, and Battlefield Portal, which allows fans to craft their own game modes in a massive sandbox to share with the community.
Arriving in May 2026, the third season of Battlefield 6 introduces two returning maps and Ranked Play. The first map to return is the Railway to Golmud from Battlefield 4, set in Tajikistan. Featuring updated visuals and audio, the map has been tweaked to support both close-quarters and long-range combat. Later in the season, fans can also anticipate the remake of the Battlefield 3 Grand Bazaar map, now set in Cairo as Cairo Bazaar, with updated visuals and audio. In addition to the returning maps in Season 3, Ranked Play arrives in Battlefield 6, starting with the Battle Royale Quads in REDSEC. Participating in the new mode will reward competitive players with exclusive rewards, such as chevrons, EXP boosters, and cosmetics.

Following the third Season, Battlefield 6 Season 4 arrives in July 2026, with a key focus on Naval Warfare as players battle from land, air, and sea. With the introduction of Naval Warfare, players can anticipate the return of Aircraft Carriers with an optional flight deck, Dynamic Wave System to intensify the combat with players utilizing the waves, new naval-based vehicles, and naval-based challenges with rewards.

Additionally, Battlefield Studios will be introducing Battlefield 6’s biggest map yet, Tsuru Reef, set in the Pacific. As of now, players can soon test the new Tsuru Reef in the Battlefield Labs.
With the amount of content arriving in Seasons 3 and 4, Battlefield 6 teases that the 5th Season will feature three maps for players to anticipate, with the roadmap hinting at where Season 5 will lead players.
