BEACN announced the launch of their new premium wireless headset, designed with voice quality in mind.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, online meetings, remote work, gaming, and other online communication have never been more important. Today, BEACN is proud to announce its latest premium wireless headset: the BEACN Headset. The team noted how important it was to fine-tune this headset to deliver precise, rich sound for the user to hear and to project high sound/voice quality.
Like many premium audio equipment, the BEACN Headset offers various tuning options. This headset contains two main features: broadcast-grade voice processing and great-sounding headphones with on-board tuning. Their proprietary real‑time microphone processes technology running directly on the headset. The best part is that different settings can be changed in real time, including evening out tone, reducing background noise, managing plosives, taming harshness, and restoring warmth. On-board controls include features such as volume, subwoofer level, chat mix, and mic monitoring—all functional without an app.
One of the most important aspects of a good mic is one that captures a user’s voice as true to their natural speaking voice as possible—not muffled in any way. BEACN uses a specialized omnidirectional mic capsule and a custom boom arm to capture a natural version of the user’s voice. The company’s Unbound Preamp also prevents clipping during loud moments, allowing users to speak freely without distortion—whether they are mid‑stream, deep in game chat, or leading a meeting.

“We didn’t want another headset with a ‘good enough’ mic,” said co‑founder of BEACN, Craig Fraser. “Headsets exist because they’re convenient—one device, one connection, everything in one place. But there shouldn’t be a trade‑off. We built the headset we’ve always wanted to use: one that gives you great audio all day, and voice quality you can actually be proud of.”
Versatility is the name of the game, whether it’s a great headset or a pair of headphones. This headset supports low‑latency wireless, USB, Bluetooth, and analog connections—making it equally at home at a desk, on the couch, on a commute, or plugged into a controller. Users who want more customization can download the BEACN App. This allows the headset wearer advanced Broadcast Voice and Binaural Personalization tools on PC, with all settings saved directly to the headset for consistent sound across devices.
The last characteristic many people look for in a good headset or pair of headphones is comfort. For the overall foundation, the BEACN Headset uses metal for strength and precision‑engineered polymers to keep weight low and acoustic volumes exact. As for the ear areas, the headset includes two sets of gel‑cooled earpads, allowing users to choose the feel and sound that best suit their environment. The headset comes with two sets of earpads: a pair of hybrid leatherette earpads and a second set of breathable, plush fabric earpads. Both options make sure users feel comfortable with either earpad choice.

The BEACN Headset is expected to ship out in spring 2026, with a launch price of $349.00 USD / $399.00 CAD. Pre-orders are available now on the official website.
