Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles took on the defending champs the Kansas City Chiefs in a revenge match at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for Super Bowl 2025. The halftime show was performed by Kendrick Lamar and SZA that was as much entertaining as it contained subliminal messages. But the most entertaining part of the 3 to 4-hour football match of the year is the ads that run throughout the game. Some highlights include a new Marvel’s Thunderbolts trailer and Ben Affleck and the Dunkings return to promote Dunkin’ Donuts.
Overall, this year’s ads were filled with many celebrities. We’ve compiled a small list of some of the best ads that aired during the Super Bowl 2025 match.
Dunkin’ Donuts And The Dunkings 2
Last year saw Ben Affleck leading a boy band group with Tom Brady, Matt Damon and Jennifer Lopez battling to become the best Super Bowl ad through singing and dancing. With one loss under Affleck’s belt, he brought out the big guns to win it this year. The cameos included Bill Belichick and his girlfriend Jordon Hudson, Casey Affleck, Druski and Jeremy Strong. This seven-minute mini-movie was a must-watch for the shenanigans, and catch the random Jay and Silent Bob cameo too!
Nike’s ‘So Win’ Ad
Nike always comes out with a banger ad for the Super Bowl, and this year was no exception. It is a fact that women’s sports blew up a lot in 2024, from basketball with Caitlin Clark to the Paris Olympics with Simone Biles. This ad showed how these record-breaking women stay resilient and step on business. The cinematography goes very hard, making it one of the best ads of Super Bowl 2025.
Google Pixel
Google Pixel put out one of the most tear-jerking ads of Super Bowl 2025, showing how a dad utilizes the new Google AI Gemini to practice answering some interview questions. The question asked about the job that mattered most to you, and so he began talking about raising his daughter from her infancy to her college years. Even those reluctant to hear AI speak, it is the human element that carries the big emotions.
Stella Artois — David And David
David Beckham finds out he has a twin in the U.S., the “other David,” and tries to find common ground with him. When Beckham gets there, he realizes his twin Dave Beckham (played by Matt Damon) also likes Stella Artois. The two kick it off and even leave off with a zinger towards Ben Affleck. The comment was probably a nice, friendly jab from Damon to Affleck.
Marvel’s Thunderbolts Big Game Trailer
This was probably the biggest movie trailer to drop during Super Bowl 2025 because it provided more context to Marvel’s Thunderbolts. The trailer showed more moments with the actors Florence Pugh, David Harbour and Sebastian Stan playing their iconic Marvel characters. But the trailer’s biggest reveal was finally showing who their big villain is. While it did not show clearly, it is highly likely to be the dark side of Sentry’s powers, The Void.
Perhaps the so-called Thunderbolts will have to find a way to separate Robert “Bob” Reynolds from his darker half. The trailer shows people in a city vanishing into shadows while running in the streets. This is why the shadowy disappearances could be caused by The Void.
