Celebrating its more than 30 years of beloved IPs, Blizzard Entertainment has announced that BlizzCon will return to the Anaheim Convention Center on Sept. 12-13, 2026.
From September 12-13, 2026, BlizzCon will return to Anaheim Convention Center, uniting many fans to celebrate Blizzard Entertainment IPs. As the community comes together to connect, forge friendships, and create memories, many fans will witness exciting announcements during the Opening Ceremony, visit panels, participate in competitions, and more.
Originally launched as Silicon & Synapse, the company was founded in 1991 by Allen Adham, Frank Pearce and Mike Morhaime to create a unique gaming experience. Three years later, the company changed its name to Blizzard Entertainment and released Warcraft: Orcs & Humans, kickstarting the love for the Warcraft franchise. As the company grew over the decades, it released Diablo, StarCraft, World of Warcraft and Overwatch.
Since the first event in 2005, BlizzCon has continued to evolve, delivering unforgettable moments for its fans. When the event returns in 2026, attendees will experience the opening ceremony, panels, the Darkmoon Faire, competitions, on-hand gameplay and more as they create lasting memories. In the announcement of the event, Blizzard Entertainment emphasized its commitment to celebrating fans’ love of its games, honouring the bonds they have formed and continuing its promises to the loyal fanbase.
Speaking of Blizzard Entertainment, the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM returns from March 18 to March 31, 2025. During the event, players can unlock skins for Mercy, Juno, D.Va, Illari and Ashe as part of the FEARLESS collection.
For those looking to take it further, players can purchase the Ultra Bundle to unlock 10 legendary skins, including the FEARLESS collection and revamped 2023 skins. Lastly, players can unlock a legendary Fawksey James Junkrat skin by completing in-game challenges.
