The major movie production company Blumhouse revealed their new game studio Blumhouse Games working on multiple horror game titles.

Today at Summer Game Fest 2024, Blumhouse Games pulled back the curtains on their upcoming video game projects. Most people will know their movie productions such as The Purge, Get Out, M3GAN, Five Night at Freddy’s among much more. They announced their plans to get more into the gaming space, offering a look into Cristol Theater of Idols, Crave Seasons, Sleep Awake, Fear the Spotlight, The Simulation, and Project C.

A quick montage showcased the different vibes of each of the six horror games. Geoff Keighley interviewed the CEO Jason Blum and creator of Blumhouse Games Clarice Reid who talked more on this plethora of horror games. Blum announced they are working on the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 movie, which is always exciting to see where the live-action adaptation continues to go.

He noted how they gathered a mic of gaming and horror movie minds, and give a variety of horror styles. Additionally, Reid detailed how there are horror elements for those with 90s nostalgia, those who are into slashers, and so much more. There are many different teams for each of these games too, international partners too. Reid explained how they are working with indie studios so they can take risks and see what works. Blum added that the games will be coming to PC and consoles.
