Burnout Paradise coming to PS4 and Xbox One 2

While fans of the Burnout series are still waiting for a new addition to their favourite series, they’ll be satisfied in knowing that a classic is coming back. Burnout Paradise is getting a remastered version for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Criterion Games, a studio owned by EA, announced today that Burnout Paradise Remastered will be coming out March 16, 2018.

The Remaster will not only include the base game but all eight add-ons from the Year of Paradise as well. This includes the extension to the drivable world via Big Surf Island. By having all of these add-ons, it means that fans will not have to pay for all of that extra DLC again.

The remaster will also include a whole host of technical upgrades which will allow gamers to not only play it in 4K, but will also be 60 fps, as long as you have a PS4 Pro, and an Xbox One X.

When describing the game, Matt Webster, General Manager at Criterion Games, said, “Burnout Paradise is an open-world arcade racer built to provide players with the thrill of racing with their friends, in a free-form way that’s both seamless and immersive.”

Webster also went on to say that Burnout Paradise Remastered will have the trademark stunt driving and the speed found in other Burnout games.

Burnout Paradise Remastered will be released on March 16, 2018, but fans will also get a chance to play on March 9, 2018, when the “Play it First” trial begins.
