A Brief into the Campaign Mode

Assisted by Raven Software, the campaign is focused on the historical event during the downfall of the Soviet Union at the end of the Cold War and the USA being the remaining superpower country during the early 90s. As for how the story plays out, the players are given freedom on how they want to approach each mission as they can go gun blazing or stealth, and use a variety of conversation methods to progress the mission whether it’s talking, bartering, or manipulating for a different experience, creating replayability for players to try out every option.

Diving Into the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Multiplayer!

Moving on to the multiplayer, movement has been massively refined to bring innovation and something fresh as for the first time, they are introducing a new movement called the Omnimovement. With the new movement system, players can sprint in any direction they desire also giving the players to chain combat skills such as slide, dive, and enhancement of the supine, and prone movement in 360 degrees.

But Omnimovement is not the only movement refinement that players could expect, as they introduced Intelligent Movement. With the Intelligent Movement enabled, players can spring, jump, and crouch without having to press too many buttons so they can focus on what they want to do and not how they can perform the actions. The assist setting will help competitive and casual players, thanks to the Omnimovement and Intelligent Movement being added to innovate the overall movement of Call of Duty Black Ops 6 for the first time in the series.

Outside of new features joining Call of Duty Black Ops 6, many pre-existed features have been improved. One of the improvements is for the hit zones, as in the past game it had four regions but for the next installment, it will be increased to nine regions to determine what body part was hit and how they die from that impact. Details have also been improved as the game will capture proper emotions to deliver impactful acting, dirt in the character nails, and their overall condition during combats.

Something that longtime players can look forward to are the new weapons that will be joining Call of Duty Black Ops 6. As they play as rogue operatives, they will be armed with many new guns, explosives, attachments, and many more as they clash against other players. As they can mix and match their play style, it will still maintain the feeling and tone of the early 90s era.

Another feature longtime players can look forward to is the return of traditional Prestige ranking that will be available on day one of Call of Duty Black Ops 6. Returning to the old format, players with max level will have an option to Prestige to start fresh with re-locked gears to go through the process of levelling up again. As the players climb up the Prestige rank, each of the ranks will have a reward that could be earned and equipped and once you reach rank 10, you will be granted the Prestige Master with an additional thousand levels to climb to earn classified rewards if you are dedicated enough.

But we can’t talk about multiplayer without mentioning the core gameplay and maps. For classes, Enforcers are for players who like to kill and are on the move, Recons to gather intel and counter-intel play, and Strategists are supporting players who would throw themselves in the frontline for a win or take down score streaks for the team. As for the maps, 16 new maps will be available, with 12 core 6V6 maps and four Strike maps that could be played as 6v6 or a 2V2. Alongside the new maps joining, they will also have their own story as they take place after the campaign.
